Role Overview: We are looking for a passionate and driven AI Intern / Junior AI Developer to join our data science team. In this role, you will contribute to building intelligent tools and solutions using Python and Generative AI technologies. This position is ideal for someone with a foundational understanding of programming and a strong interest in working with cutting-edge AI models like GPT, LangChain, and other LLM frameworks. You will work closely with our data scientists and engineering team to support the development of AI-powered applications, including chatbots, summarization tools, and workflow automation. This role offers an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on experience with large language models (LLMs), prompt engineering, API integrations, and the latest in AI tooling. We’re looking for someone who’s a quick learner, team player, and excited to grow in the rapidly evolving AI/ML space.

Key Responsibilities:

• Support the data science team in building tools and solutions using Python and Generative AI.
• Write clean, maintainable Python code for data processing, model integration, and API development.
• Work with large language models and prompt engineering for various use cases (chatbots, summarization, etc.).
• Collaborate with data scientists to integrate AI outputs into analytics workflows or business applications.
  
  
  

Required Skills:

• Basic to intermediate proficiency in Python (data structures, OOP, libraries like pandas, requests, fastapi).
• Exposure to Generative AI tools and concepts – e.g., OpenAI GPT, Hugging Face Transformers, LangChain, etc.
• Familiarity with REST APIs and basic integration tasks.
• Strong problem-solving skills and eagerness to learn.
• Good communication and teamwork abilities.
  
  
  

Nice to Have:

• Experience with Jupyter Notebooks or streamlit for quick prototyping.
• Knowledge of vector databases (e.g., FAISS, Chroma) and embeddings.
• Exposure to cloud-based AI tools (e.g., Azure OpenAI, AWS Bedrock, etc.).
