This role sits within our Programs function, driving data-informed decision-making that strengthens the impact and credibility of our work.
THE ROLE
We are looking for an experienced Program Manager with 3–5 years of hands-on experience in program documentation, data collection, and monitoring & evaluation. Experience or understanding working on developing web-based or app-based program management monitoring systems is desirable. This role is central to how Sol’s ARC tracks, measures, and communicates its impact — managing documentation systems, designing data frameworks, and translating data into insights that drive strategic decisions. You will work closely with Program, M&E, and Technology teams to ensure accurate, timely reporting aligned with organisational and donor requirements.

What You’ll Actually Do
M and E systems, Documentation & Reporting
Ensure all data collection systems and tools are aligned with program goals and reporting frameworks.
Design M & E forms and tools
Develop dashboards, MIS reports and presentation for internal and external stakeholders
Collaborate with technology teams to develop or integrate tools that support streamlined data collection, tool design and data management.
Prepare program and donor reports with well-documented data, analysis, and evidence of impact
Prepare regular program briefs based on surveys and assessments that support programmatic development and strategic decision-making.
Provide support in development of proposals
Develop logframes, define indicators
Track all program activities, milestones, and impact data
Data Analysis, Quality Checks & Program Monitoring
Analyse program data both quantitative and qualitative to identify trends, challenges, and opportunities for program enhancement.
Conduct data quality checks and validation
Monitor program indicators and its progress
Identify trends, gaps and areas requiring improvement or corrective action.
Conduct field visits as and when required
Data Management
Maintain detailed, organised records in a central repository that facilitate easy retrieval of information for team use and donor communications.
Design and implement effective data collection protocols and processes for various programs, ensuring data integrity, accuracy, and consistency.
Ensure all data collection, storage and management follow data privacy and protection protocols.
Coordinate with field/program teams on data requirements, data collection challenges, and gaps
Ensure data collection is complete, consistent and usable for analysis
Cross-functional Collaboration & Capacity Building
Conducting cross-team discussions to understand program implementation and data collection challenges
Provide M and E data and platform related technical support.

Participate in team meetings, sharing insights, providing recommendations, and keeping staff informed on documentation and data management practices.
Represent Sol’s ARC in donor reviews and external evaluations as required.

Who We’re Looking For
Qualifications – Bachelor’s degree in Social Work, Data Science, Program Management, or a related field; Master’s degree preferred.
Preferred / Added Advantage – Proficiency in data analysis tools such as Excel or Looker; experience with digital MIS or data management platforms.
Experience – 3–5 years of hands-on experience in program documentation, data collection, and analysis, preferably in a nonprofit or development sector organisation.
Demonstrated ability to design and manage data collection processes across multi-site programs.
Prior experience in monitoring & evaluation, donor reporting, and cross-functional collaboration is strongly preferred.
Strong analytical skills with the ability to translate data insights into actionable program recommendations.
Excellent organisational, written, and verbal communication skills in English and Hindi.
Willingness to travel across rural and urban India to support field teams and data collection efforts.
