We’re seeking someone to join our team as Batch Optimization Lead will be a part of our Investment Management team, to will play a key role in helping transform how Morgan Stanley operates.

WM_Technology

Wealth Management Technology is responsible for the design, development, delivery, and support of the technical solutions behind the products and services used by the Morgan Stanley Wealth Management Business. Practice areas include: Analytics, Intelligence, & Data Technology (AIDT), Client Platforms, Core Technology Services (CTS), Financial Advisor Platforms, Global Banking Technology (GBT), Investment Solutions Technology (IST), Institutional Wealth and Corporate Solutions Technology (IWCST), Technology Delivery Management (TDM), User Experience (UX), and the CAO team.

Services Tech

Services Technology is a dynamic and fast-paced area within the Firms WM Technology Division. The charter of this department is to develop applications that covers Service to Sales which includes Contact Center, Client Onboarding, Account Opening, CRM, JAWS, Document Management, Workflows, RPA that supports FAs, CSAs, and Operations.

This is Vice Presidentposition that manages administrative tasks related to technology infrastructure and services, ensuring smooth operations and support for the organizations technology needs.

What You’ll Do In The Role

• Attending work on Production Batch Jobs to optimize to save Processing time (Left Shift), to turn Ready for Business on time.
• Optimizing efforts involving Data Analysis, Design Review, Code Fixes, Performance Parameter Optimization research Analysis, Behavior Analysis that focus to reduce Memory Utilization (Hard Disk, RAM), CPU Utilization, so the jobs are not running long.
• Additionally migrating Timer jobs to File poler jobs and deprioritizing jobs to non critical path. These optimizations are requested by WMT Batch Stability squad to A&DT, for which resolution needs to be provided, on timely manner.
• Optimizing large data loads.
  
  

What You’ll Bring To The Role

• 8-15 years of experience with the technical analysis and design, development and implementation of data warehousing / Data Lake solutions;
• Well versed and Hand-on in AI, Machine learning, Hadoop, Hive Query language (HQL), Teradata, Python, and SQL
• Hadoop, HQL, Python, Teradata, SQL, PL/SQL and unix shell scripting
• Strong UNIX Shell scripting experience to support data warehousing solutions;
• Excellent problem solving and analytical skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills;
  
  

Secondary Skills / Desired Skills

• Manage and direct processes and R&D (research and development) to meet the needs of our AI strategy. Understand company and client challenges and how integrating AI capabilities can help lead to solutions. Lead cross-functional teams in identifying and prioritizing key areas of a partner’s business where AI solutions can drive significant business benefit.
• Analyze and explain AI and machine learning (ML) solutions while setting and maintaining high ethical standards.
