Description

As a Product Manager at Thermo Fisher Scientific, you will drive business growth by integrating technical expertise with consultative selling. You will lead cross-functional teams to execute product strategies, deliver high-impact technical presentations, and cultivate strategic partnerships with Key Opinion Leaders (KOLs). By analyzing market trends and territory potential, you will implement data-driven business plans to consistently exceed sales targets and provide industry-leading customer solutions.

Requirements

Qualifications & Experience

  • Education: Masters degree with 3+ years of experience, or a Bachelor’s degree with 6+ years of experience in Life Sciences, Biotechnology, Molecular Biology, Biochemistry, or a related field.
  • Industry Expertise: Proven track record in Product Management or commercial roles within the Biopharma, Biotech, or Academic sectors.
  • Technical Proficiency: Strong background in molecular/protein/cell biology, NGS, or chromatography; ability to deliver technical demonstrations and customer training.

Business & Strategic Acumen

  • Portfolio Management: Demonstrated success in managing complex product portfolios and driving measurable business growth.
  • Commercial Success: Proven ability to meet or exceed sales targets and execute business development initiatives.
  • Data-Driven Planning: Advanced analytical skills in financial modeling, forecasting, and strategic business planning.

Leadership & Execution

  • Project Leadership: Expert project management skills with the ability to lead cross-functional teams and drive complex initiatives to completion.
  • Communication: Exceptional presentation and interpersonal skills, with full professional fluency in English.
  • Relationship Management: Ability to cultivate and maintain strategic partnerships with Key Opinion Leaders (KOLs) and scientific stakeholders.

Operational Requirements

  • Customer Centricity: A consultative, solution-oriented mindset focused on customer satisfaction and technical problem-solving.
  • Soft Skills: Highly self-directed with superior organizational, time management, and collaborative skills.
  • Mobility: Ability to travel 50% PAN India for site visits, customer consultations, and industry events.
  • Tools: Proficiency in standard business software and CRM platforms.
