Role/ Job Title: Product Manager - Agri

Function/ Department: Rural Banking

Job Purpose

Agri is key business for Bank and portfolio manager contributes in ensuring healthy Agri portfolio which ensures lower delinquency and mitigate risk in portfolio. Candidate contributes by keeping lower GCL and NCL at portfolio risk and ensue lower risk at ongoing basis in Agri portfolio by keep key indicators within targeted parameters.

Roles & Responsibilities

• Regular monitoring of portfolio activity assigned to the Portfolio Manager.
• Responsibility in respect of portfolio will be:
• Optimum utilization against approved DP by the customer
• Portfolio health in terms of interest servicing, DPD, deferral closures and covenant fulfilment by due date.
• Monitor and maintain optimum churn by the customer in the account.
• Working on ‘Early Warning Signal’ triggers, taking necessary action with the customer, and responding to internal stake-holders – Product, Portfolio and Risk team.
• Timely renewal of Limits, including enhancements, if any.
• scoping the Portfolio for cross-sell by RMs and improve Portfolio Product Holding by way of deepening and cross-sell.
• Migrate customers to use on-line channels such as internet banking, mobile app, door-step banking etc.
• Ensuring adherence to the credit policy, internal policy, RBI guidelines, and other guidelines.
• Highlight potential stress cum risk on portfolio to internal stakeholders such as credit, risk, and product team.
• Suggest policy and process changes to improve customer experience from time to time.
  
  

• Building collaborative work culture between the portfolio managers and other cross functional vertical. Credit, Ops, Product, risk, liability etc.
  
  

• Portfolio level delinquency, Portfolio Hygiene parameters like Interest Servicing, Churning level of customers, timely renewal, and review of limits, FPD, SPD, deferral & Covenant management, Business generated through enhancement and leads. Product penetration in portfolio.
