Position Title: Manager – Procurement
Reports To: General Manager
Location: Mumbai
Employment Type: Full-time
Roles And Responsibilities
- Should be aware of the P2P (Procure to Pay) process.
- Manage end to end procurement for assigned categories of raw materials.
- Maintain strong follow ups with suppliers for timely deliveries and communicate updates appropriately to stakeholders.
- Ensure schedule adherence and achieve 98% on time delivery.
- Maintain strong relationships with suppliers to ensure reliability and consistent performance.
- Drive supplier performance improvement and resolve escalations related to quality or delivery issues.
- Implement and monitor the FIFO mechanism, inventory controls, and stock optimization.
- Work with cross functional teams (quality, operations, logistics) to streamline processes.
- Understand quality issues and coordinate with suppliers to ensure proper corrective actions are taken.
- Mandatory hands on experience in SAP and Excel. Knowledge of Tableau/Power BI will be an added advantage.
- Good communication, decision-making, and problem-solving abilities
Experience
- 5–8 years of experience in procurement or supply chain
- Experience in manufacturing plant is preferred
- Hands-on experience in procurement and supplier management
- Analytical Skills - PowerBI, Taleu, Data Analytics, Advance Excel
