PriGIV Operations Controller- Your future position?

Site controlling activities for all functions present on sites. Actively support the Operations controlling and local Finance network by supplying local information when required. Provide business support to the local operations and finance to ensure efficiency and compliance.

Serve As a Site Go To Person Enabling

• Full finance integration into operations and Givaudan reporting landscape
• Support and drive for process improvement initiatives at a site level
• Active involvement and challenge of business decisions
  
  

Direct support to the Regional Operations controller F&B and on local Finance Manager on ad-hoc tasks and analysis related to the Joint Venture.

Core Responsibilities

• Business Partnering: Make sure that the local Operations team is aware of all the risk and opportunities which can impact the performance of Operations, propose mitigation actions and ensure the execution of these actions after alignment.
• Business Insight: provide Operations and Finance teams with interpretive and predictive operational and financial information on which to make business decisions. Perform ad-hoc and pro-active analyses of the JV’s monthly KPIs and provide Operational Management with the business performance insight
• Investments: drive the investment process within the sites, including validation of the business cases, ensure approval and following up on executed investments to stay within scope and budget.
• Budget Cycle. Lead the annual operations budget process across the site, in line with global guidance and in line with the regional business plan. This includes the annual standard product costing.
• Support of the Regional Operations controller F&B and of the local Finance Manager: Support Regional Operations controller F&B to perform ad hoc tasks and analysis on Operations.
  
  

Your Professional Profile Includes

• Degree in Accounting/Finance/Economics or professional accountancy qualification
• 10+ years’ experience in cost accounting/operations controlling in a manufacturing environment
• Fluent in English. Knowledge of additional language is an added advantage
• Knowledge of SAP FI/CO is an added advantage
• Advanced Microsoft office skills (strong Excel and PowerPoint is a must)
• Working knowledge of costing processes and procedures
• Project Management skills
• Strong analytical thinking combined with a strong business sense
