Job Title: Power System Engineer – Power System Studies
Role Overview
Looking for a Power System Engineer to support and execute power system studies, develop system models, and contribute to project delivery while ensuring compliance with industry standards and client requirements.
Qualifications / Requirements
Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering, preferably with a specialization in Power Systems.
1–3 years of relevant experience in power system studies and protection engineering.
Exposure to power system analysis software other than ETAP will be considered an added advantage.
Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
High attention to quality, accuracy, and compliance requirements.
Ability to evaluate technical challenges and provide effective solutions.
Good communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively within teams.
Eagerness to learn and develop expertise in the power systems domain.
Key Responsibilities
Power System Studies
Perform and independently handle power system studies using ETAP, including:
Load Flow Analysis
Short Circuit Analysis
Relay Coordination and Protection Studies
Arc Flash Analysis
Harmonic Analysis
Develop protection philosophies, relay logic schemes, and relay setting parameters.
Create, update, and validate power system models in accordance with specific project requirements.
Project & Client Coordination
Participate in technical meetings and discussions with clients to understand project requirements and present study outcomes.
Collaborate with internal teams to facilitate effective project execution and delivery.
Ensure timely completion of assigned projects through thorough reviews and a focus on minimizing rework.
Industry Representation
Represent the organization and the Power System team at industry conferences, technical seminars, workshops, and professional forums.
