People Operations Manager

LRQA is a leading global assurance provider operating across 51 countries and supporting more than 60,000 clients. As we expand our digital and operational capabilities, we are seeking a People Operations Manager to lead and strengthen our global People Administration function.

This role is pivotal in shaping LRQA’s next chapter, ensuring operational excellence, driving digital transformation, and delivering a seamless colleague experience across the full employee lifecycle. The role is based in Mumbai operating a hybrid working model.

How will you make a difference

• Lead, coach, and develop the People Administration team delivering end‑to‑end lifecycle support from Day‑1 to offboarding.
• Oversee daily operations to meet SLAs, quality standards, and compliance requirements across multiple countries.
• Act as the escalation point for complex or sensitive employee administration matters.
• Maintain strong governance, risk management, and audit‑ready processes.
• Drive process optimization, automation, and digitalization initiatives across global HR workflows.
• Partner closely with Payroll, People Advisory, Rewards, HRIS, and other internal teams.
• Lead global process standardization while balancing local country requirements.

About You

• Minimum 5 years of experience leading HR operations or shared services teams, ideally across multiple countries.
• Strong understanding of HR administration, employee lifecycle processes, and compliance frameworks.
• Experience with HRIS platforms such as SAP SuccessFactors.
• Familiarity with automation, workflow optimization, and digital HR tools.
• Strong communication, stakeholder management, and problem‑solving abilities.
• Ability to lead through change and support global process implementations.
