Operations Manager LAP

Position Overview

The Operations Manager for Loan Against Property (LAP) will oversee the end-to-end operational workflow, ensuring efficient processing, compliance, and delivery of loans. This role requires expertise in managing loan documentation, team coordination, and regulatory adherence while driving operational excellence.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage and streamline the loan processing cycle, from application to disbursement, ensuring timely and accurate delivery.
• Oversee loan document verification, credit checks, property valuation, and legal clearance processes.
• Develop and implement operational policies to enhance efficiency and mitigate risks.
• Collaborate with sales, credit, and legal teams to resolve process bottlenecks.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory and company policies for all operational activities.
• Track and report key operational metrics, ensuring continuous process improvement.
• Train and mentor the operations team, fostering a culture of excellence and accountability.
• Handle escalations and provide resolutions for customer and stakeholder concerns.
  
  

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, or a related field.
• 5+ years of experience in operations management, preferably in LAP or mortgage loans.
• Strong knowledge of loan processes, documentation, and regulatory guidelines.
• Excellent leadership and organizational skills.
• Proficiency in loan management software and tools.
• Ability to handle high-pressure situations and meet tight deadlines.
