As a Mechanical Engineering Expert, you'll put your deep domain knowledge to work by designing complex engineering problems, authoring gold-standard solutions, and auditing AI reasoning across fluid dynamics, thermodynamics, structural mechanics, and more. Your expertise becomes the benchmark that cutting-edge AI is trained against.

• Design Challenging Problems — Craft advanced mechanical engineering problems across domains including FEA, heat transfer, kinematics, material science, and mechatronics to probe the limits of AI performance
• Author Ground-Truth Solutions — Write rigorous, step-by-step technical solutions and "golden responses" that serve as benchmarks for AI learning
• Audit AI Outputs — Evaluate AI-generated CAD logic, thermodynamic proofs, and material specifications for technical accuracy, safety, and compliance with engineering standards (e.g., ASME, ISO)
• Sharpen AI Reasoning — Identify logical errors in AI outputs — such as incorrect force distributions or energy conservation violations — and provide structured, actionable feedback to improve model reasoning
  
  

• Advanced Degree: Master's (pursuing or completed) or PhD in Mechanical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, or a closely related field
• Domain Expertise: Strong foundational knowledge in solid mechanics, fluid mechanics, thermodynamics, CAD/CAM, or manufacturing processes
• Analytical Communicator: Able to translate complex physical phenomena and mathematical concepts into clear, precise written explanations
• Detail-Oriented: High precision when reviewing mathematical derivations, unit conversions, and physical system constraints
• No AI experience required — if you know your engineering, we'll handle the rest
  
  

• Prior experience with data annotation, data quality, or evaluation workflows
• Proficiency in engineering software such as SolidWorks, MATLAB, or ANSYS
• Familiarity with evaluating AI-generated code or computational workflows
