Role Overview
The Senior Manager – QA/QC will be responsible for establishing, implementing, and monitoring quality management systems across the entire construction project. The role involves ensuring that all construction activities meet the required quality standards, project specifications, and regulatory requirements.
The candidate will lead the site QA/QC team, coordinate with project management, consultants, and execution teams, and ensure quality control across civil, structural, finishing, and MEP works.
Key ResponsibilitiesQuality Management System Implementation
Develop and implement QA/QC policies, procedures, and quality management systems for the project.
Ensure compliance with project specifications, approved drawings, and industry standards.
Monitor implementation of quality assurance processes across all construction activities.
Site Quality Control
Oversee quality control for structural works, reinforcement works, formwork systems, finishing works, and MEP installations.
Ensure all works are executed as per approved construction methods and quality standards.
Conduct periodic quality audits and inspections across project areas.
Inspection & Testing Management
Ensure proper implementation of inspection and testing plans (ITP) for various construction activities.
Monitor material testing, cube testing, field tests, and laboratory tests.
Ensure compliance with quality testing procedures and documentation requirements.
Coordination with Consultants & Project Teams
Coordinate with project consultants, site engineers, and contractors to resolve quality issues.
Participate in consultant inspections, quality review meetings, and project coordination meetings.
Ensure timely closure of quality observations and non-conformance reports (NCRs).
Quality Monitoring & Reporting
Monitor overall quality performance of the project.
Prepare and present quality performance reports to project leadership and management.
Track key quality indicators and improvement measures.
Non-Conformance & Corrective Actions
Review and manage Non-Conformance Reports (NCRs) raised during project execution.
Ensure proper corrective and preventive actions are implemented.
Monitor closure of quality deviations and ensure compliance.
Team Leadership & Development
Lead and guide QA/QC Managers, Engineers, and Inspectors at project sites.
Ensure proper deployment and training of quality personnel.
Promote a quality-focused culture across the project teams.
Documentation & Compliance
Ensure proper maintenance of quality records, inspection reports, material approvals, and test certificates.
Ensure project compliance with company quality policies and ISO standards.
Maintain proper documentation for client and consultant audits.
Technical Skills Required
Strong knowledge of construction quality standards and procedures
Experience in QA/QC management for high-rise building construction
Knowledge of inspection and testing procedures for civil and MEP works
Familiarity with quality audits, NCR management, and corrective actions
Proficiency in MS Excel, quality reporting systems, and documentation management
Preferred Skills
Strong leadership and team management capabilities
Excellent coordination and communication skills
Ability to enforce strict quality standards across project teams
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills related to construction quality
