Your Role

As a Marketing Coordinator, your primary responsibility will be to support the production of materials that contribute to Gensler's business development and marketing efforts. Working under the direction of the Asia Pacific & Middle East (APME) Marketing Director and closely with the India Marketing Manager as your on-site team lead, you will assist in the development of proposals, presentations, and other marketing collateral that help the firm win work and strengthen its brand presence.

You will be a member of the India and APME Marketing Teams, working closely with marketing colleagues in Mumbai and Bangalore to support business development and marketing priorities across India, with a primary focus on Mumbai pursuits and initiatives. You will also contribute to broader regional priorities and collaborate with the wider APME marketing team on selected pursuits, campaigns, and strategic projects.

To be successful in this role, you must build proficiency with creative and collaboration tools including InDesign, PowerPoint, Miro, and Microsoft Teams. Strong graphic design sensibilities, excellent organization, attention to detail, and project coordination skills will help you excel in this role and create opportunities for continued growth within the firm. You will be working with a team of like-minded marketers who are passionate about telling Gensler's stories and demonstrating the power of design.

What You Will Do

  • Support the development of proposals, presentations, and marketing collateral in alignment with Gensler's brand standards
  • Assist marketing team members with pursuit planning, proposal coordination, and business development activities
  • Help produce visually compelling materials with a strong emphasis on graphic design, presentation layout, and visual storytelling
  • Contribute to the preparation of client presentations, qualifications packages, and pursuit submissions
  • Support proactive marketing and brand-building initiatives, including social media content, thought leadership materials, award submissions, and client events
  • Perform multiple marketing assignments against rapid and frequent deadlines
  • Develop an understanding of Gensler's portfolio, practice areas, market sectors, and firmwide capabilities
  • Maintain marketing resources and information systems, including resumes, project information, case studies, templates, and content libraries
  • Work closely with the Mumbai office leadership team, project teams, and marketing colleagues in Mumbai and Bangalore to support local business development priorities
  • Collaborate with other marketing team members on special projects, pursuit efforts, and regional initiatives as needed
  • Support Gensler's broader sustainability goals through day-to-day activities and marketing efforts where appropriate

Required

Your Qualifications

  • 2+ years of professional experience in marketing, communications, graphic design, or a related role within a design, professional services, or AEC firm
  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Graphic Design, Journalism, Business, Architecture, Interior Design, or a related field
  • Creative and impactful graphic design skills, including creating compelling presentations and marketing collateral
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with strong attention to detail and visual presentation
  • Self-motivator with strong organizational and interpersonal skills and a great collaborator
  • Strong organizational ability and proactiveness to coordinate and manage multiple projects and deadlines
  • Ability to work with diverse project teams and in a fast-paced work environment
  • Strong graphic communication and design skills
  • Skills in video production are considered a bonus
  • Proficiency in Adobe InDesign and Microsoft Office is required
