The Lead – MEP Execution (Electrical) is responsible for execution and monitoring of electrical MEP systems across assigned projects. The role ensures timely delivery, quality compliance, cost control and coordination of power distribution, lighting, ELV and fire alarm systems in line with project objectives.

Review shop drawings, method statements and BOQs
Resolve technical and execution issues related to electrical systems

Track progress and prepare MIS reports

Ability to leverage relevant engineering equipment and systems knowledge (as applicable) to perform troubleshooting and testing and commissioning for systems, including system interfaces, functional testing and performance verification, to validate and ensure that all systems operate according to design specifications and meet performance criteria
Ability to leverage MEP and ICT engineering knowledge, system interfaces and system integration plans and concepts to perform integrated testing and commissioning for systems, including functional testing and performance verification, to validate that all systems operate according to design specifications and meet performance criteria in an integrated manner
Ability to apply knowledge of automatic fire detection and alarm systems, including Very Early Smoke Detection Systems (VESDA), in order to design, install, and maintain effective fire alarm solutions that ensure early warning, minimize false alarms, and enhance occupant safety
Ability to apply knowledge of architectural and engineering drawing standards with respect to Drawing Control Index (DCI) to read, analyze, and interpret various types of technical drawings, including blueprints, schematics, detailed drawings, GFC drawings and shop drawings to understand design specifications, dimensions, materials, and construction methods essential for successful engineering design, project planning and execution
Ability to apply knowledge of unit protection systems, including overcurrent and earth fault protection principles, coordination and grading of settings, and fault analysis techniques, in order to design, implement, and optimize effective protection schemes that ensure reliable operation, minimize equipment damage, and enhance safety in electrical systems during fault conditions
Ability to apply knowledge of electrical control schemes, wiring diagrams, and industry standards in order to develop and interpret primary equipment control schemes, design effective protection schemes, prepare detailed power and control cable schedules, and create accurate termination and interconnection charts, ensuring precise representation and compliance
