We are seeking a talented individual to join our CIS team at Marsh McLennan. This role will be based in Pune/Mumbai. This is a hybrid role that has a requirement of working at least three days a week in the office.
Manager - Data Engneering
As an Azure Platform Engineer, we will count on you to design, monitor, build, and automate pipelines. As an Azure Subject Matter expert, you will provide guidance and insights, while working closely with Software Engineering teams to leverage shared resources and create efficiencies.
We will count on you to:
- Implement data engineering, ingestion, and curation functions on Azure cloud using Azure native services and databricks
- Have a good understanding of big data technologies like Spark
- Participate in provisioning data storage services, transforming data and implementing security requirements
- Operationalize large-scale enterprise data solutions and applications using Azure data and analytics services
- Implement innovative technologies to engineer Platform services, container orchestration technologies, and CI/CD automation.
- Leverage tools provided by Tech (e.g., infrastructure as code, cloud Ops, logging / alerting) in delivery of solutions
- Integrate, transform, and consolidate data from both structured and unstructured systems into a structure that is suitable for building analytics solutions
- Creates Infrastructure as Code (IaC) scripts (Bash, JSON, YAML, Terraform, Cloud Formation
What you need to have:
- 6-8years of Experience with Azure cloud; development and architecture as well as experience with REST APIs to support integration of infrastructure, cloud and platform as a service technology.
- Strong experience designing Cloud Solutions in large enterprise environments.
- Experience managing and deploying Azure cloud services - App Gateway, Functions, Vault and ADLS.
- Knowledge leveraging integration with Power Apps, Power Bi.
- Experience in building, upgrading terraform templates and deploying services.
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to or experience of working collaboratively with global cross-functional teams.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
