Job Title: Manager – Business Support, PMO

Job Location: DHL Global Forwarding, Freight (DGFF) GSC, India (Mumbai)

In this role, you will have the opportunity to collaborate with the internal & external stakeholders, monitor, control, and govern projects.

As a Manager under Business Support service line, you will oversee end-to-end Customer projects for Americas Region.

Your role will focus on delivering well-architected solutions that enhance both customer and business experiences. This role involves managing cross-functional teams, driving project execution, ensuring quality deliverables, and fostering strong stakeholder relationships within a matrix organization. The incumbent will leverage expertise in SDLC, business analysis, and project management to deliver scalable and high-quality solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

Project Oversight :

• Creating standardized project charters and governance structures.
• Establishing project management workflows, stage gates, approval processes, and reporting requirements.
• Managing project intake and prioritization.
• Help Team drive project planning, execution, and delivery within agreed scope, timeline, and quality.
• Tracking project milestones, dependencies, risks, and benefits realization.
• Ensure clarity of requirements and alignment with business
• Manage changes, risks, and dependencies
• Ensure adherence to SDLC processes and project governance

Quality & Delivery Assurance :

• Ensure deliverables meet business requirements and quality
• Oversee testing, validation, and readiness for production
• Monitor key delivery metrics and take corrective action where
• Promote continuous improvement in processes to enhance delivery quality.
• Developing executive dashboards and reporting.

Coordination & Governance :

• Collaborate with internal teams and external vendors.
• Automating reminders, follow-ups, and escalation processes.
• Track progress, chase actions, and ensure timely resolution of issues.
• Maintain clear documentation and decision
• Coordinating project reviews and steering committee meetings.
• Ensure compliance with organizational policies, standards, and audit
• Ensuring follow-through on strategic priorities and transformation programs.

Management responsibility :

• Lead, mentor, and guide cross-functional teams to deliver projects
• Foster collaboration, accountability, and a high-performance
• Drive team productivity by setting clear goals, priorities, and performance
• Support team development through coaching, feedback, and knowledge sharing.
• Capturing and organizing ideas from across the organization, such as:
• Projects
• Strategic initiatives
• Leadership actions
• Business improvements
• Reporting
• Accountability

Stakeholder Management :

• Act as the primary point of contact for Business Owners, Product Owners, and senior
• Build strong relationships and ensure alignment on goals, priorities, and
• Manage expectations, provide regular updates, and handle escalations
• Influence decision-making by providing data-driven insights and
• Tracking commitments made during SMT, and leadership meetings.

Required Skills/Abilities:

• Bachelor’s degree or master’s degree (preferred) or a related field
• Project Management certification is an added
• Minimum 5+ years of team management experience is a
• Knowledge of Logistics and Supply Chain; experience in these fields is
• Excellent communication and interpersonal
• Strong customer-facing skills with the ability to communicate technical concepts in simplest possible
• Excellent decision-making abilities and problem-solving
• Highly self-motivated and detail-oriented, with the ability to prioritize and execute tasks in high-pressure

Technical Expertise:

• Proficient in relational database design and management
• Understanding information processing principles and
• Strong knowledge of system and software quality assurance best practices and methodologies
