Designation: Maintenance Lead

Location: Mumbai and Pune

Reporting To: Regional Maintenance Manager

Region Coverage: Mumbai & Pune

Travel Requirement: 80% Field Travel

Role Purpose

The Maintenance Lead will be responsible for ensuring reliable operation and upkeep of all maintenance, refrigeration, HVAC, electrical, and infrastructure assets across Mumbai and Pune Distribution Centers (DCs). The role will drive asset reliability, cold-chain compliance, preventive maintenance, cost optimization, and stakeholder management.

Key Responsibilities

• Ensure reliable operation of refrigeration, HVAC, electrical, utility, and backup power systems
• Drive 100% Preventive Maintenance (PM) and Predictive Maintenance (PdM)compliance across all DC's.
• Monitor equipment health, conduct Root Cause Analysis (RCA), and implement corrective actions to reduce downtime.
• Ensure Cold Room temperature compliance (0–4°C) and effective breakdown management.
• Maintain infrastructure health, safety, and statutory compliance
• Identify and implement cost-saving and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Manage vendors, AMCs, and service partners to achieve defined SLA's
• Coordinate with Operations, Procurement, Finance, and other stakeholders for smooth maintenance execution
• Manage SAP-based maintenance activities, PR/PO tracking, and Purchase-to-Payment (P2P) follow-ups.
• Lead and support field engineers to ensure operational excellence across the region

Qualifications & Experience:

• Education: Diploma / Bachelor& Degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Refrigeration, or related Engineering discipline.
• Experience: 5–8 years in Maintenance, Facilities, Refrigeration, HVAC, Utilities, or Cold Chain Operations, preferably in FMCG, Food Processing, Warehousing, Logistics, or Retail.
