About the Role:

We are currently seeking a dedicated and skilled Legal Manager specializing in Regulatory Compliance to join our dynamic team. This is an exciting opportunity for a professional who is eager to contribute to a vibrant culture while navigating the complexities of the regulatory landscape.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement compliance policies and procedures that align with regulatory requirements and industry best practices.
• Conduct thorough compliance audits and assessments to identify potential risks and ensure adherence to legal standards.
• Provide expert legal advice on regulatory issues, including but not limited to investment regulations, corporate governance, and data protection.
• Collaborate with various internal teams to ensure compliance across all business operations and processes.
• Monitor changes in regulations and assess their impact on the company’s operations, advising senior management accordingly.
• Prepare and submit regulatory filings, reports, and documentation as required by local and international authorities.
• Facilitate training sessions for staff on compliance matters, fostering a culture of integrity and accountability.
• Act as the primary point of contact for regulatory bodies and manage communications effectively.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Law (LLB) and a Company Secretary (CS) qualification.
• A minimum of 2-4 years of experience in regulatory compliance within the financial services or investment sector.
• Strong understanding of relevant regulatory frameworks and compliance standards.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
• Ability to communicate complex legal concepts clearly and succinctly to non-legal stakeholders.
• Proficiency in drafting legal documents and compliance reports.
• Strong interpersonal skills with a collaborative approach to working in a team environment.

Preferred Skills

• Experience in handling compliance matters specific to private equity or venture capital.
• Familiarity with international regulatory standards and practices.
• Certification in compliance or risk management (e.g., CRCM, CAMS).

Pay range and compensation package
