Job Overview
Based at BKC, Mumbai, this role focuses on leading the execution of visual merchandising strategies across various store formats, ensuring brand consistency and exceptional in-store experiences. The position plays a crucial role in translating brand objectives into compelling visual displays that drive customer engagement and sales.
Qualifications And Skills
Expert proficiency in visual merchandising techniques, display execution, and aesthetics to optimize in-store presentation.
Proven experience in implementing and monitoring planograms to ensure effective product placement and store layout alignment with business goals.
Strategic collaboration with cross-functional teams, including marketing, buying, and operations, to align visual strategies with organizational objectives.
Strong interpersonal communication skills to effectively coordinate with internal teams, external vendors, and store staff for seamless execution.
Advanced proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite for the development and review of visual concepts, mockups, and store layouts.
Experience with vendor management, including sourcing, negotiations, and relationship building to facilitate timely and quality execution of visual plans.
Competency in visual data analytics to assess the impact of visual strategies, using insights to optimize merchandising effectiveness and drive store performance.
Demonstrated ability in budget management for efficient allocation of resources towards merchandising execution and materials procurement.
Educational Qualification: Masters degree in marketing, Retail Management, Fashion Communication, or Design Management
Roles And Responsibilities
Lead the end-to-end execution of visual merchandising strategies across multiple store formats while ensuring brand guidelines are consistently met.
Develop, implement, and monitor store-specific planograms and seasonal displays to maximize product visibility and customer engagement.
Collaborate with marketing, operations, and buying teams to synchronize in-store visual campaigns with broader business and promotional strategies.
Supervise the design, production, and installation of visual elements, ensuring quality, accuracy, and alignment with defined brand standards.
Source and manage relationships with vendors for timely procurement and delivery of visual merchandising materials and props.
Conduct regular store visits and audits to evaluate display effectiveness, gather insights, and implement continuous improvements.
Train and mentor store staff in best practices for visual display maintenance and execution to uphold brand presentation across locations.
Manage the budgeting process for all visual merchandising activities, ensuring optimal resource usage and cost-effective execution.
