Middle office teams amongst investment companies are stretched between day-to-day operation tasks and new requests for business development, with situation intensified by growing complexity of financial markets. PROCESS BRIEF

We are looking for a Lead Specialist, Risk & Quant, Managed Services to join our Buyside Client Services team in Mumbai – an individual who is enthusiastic, intellectually curious and takes pride in the work they do. We offer the opportunity to become a subject matter expert in FactSet’s Risk Analytics products and solutions by bridging the gap between investment and software professionals. The role requires collaborative partnership with a diverse range of stakeholders including client representatives, sales, product specialists and engineers.

Key Responsibilities And Tasks

  • Effectively handle multiple tasks or Client Services projects independently. Responsibilities include conducting advanced portfolio performance or risk result analysis to assess the different sources of portfolio returns and/or various risk measures, incident management, client service and service delivery.
  • Develop and maintain up-to-date knowledge of the asset management industry, current market trends and economic factors for maintaining a competitive edge over the execution and delivery of creative solutions & strategies.
  • Actively participate and contribute to best-practices initiatives and product/workflow enhancements for Client Services by obtaining an excellent grasp of the product functionalities and methodologies as well as industry-specific principles and best practices. Close collaboration with middle and front office of our clients – institutional asset managers, wealth managers and asset owners.
  • Analyze and solve complex business issues related to clients’ investment portfolios, financial data, analytics, and workflows.
  • Strong aptitude for understanding and gathering requirements to address client-specific business needs efficiently.
  • Assist and support the smooth execution of clients’ production processes and workflows.
  • Collaborating, mentoring, training, supporting, and acting as escalation for the RCS Customer Success or Managed Services Operations teams and other client teams at FactSet

Required Skills

  • University degree in Finance, Economics or related industry discipline.
  • 3+ years of relevant experience required
  • Fluent English verbal and excellent written communication skills.
  • Strong knowledge of financial instruments pricing, including standard stock and bond assets, as well as derivative products such as options, futures, swaps (e.g., CDS, IRS, TRS), and structured products.
  • Participation in the CFA Program or FRM Program is an added advantage
  • Python and data science skills would be considered a plus
  • Ability to build strong, trusting relationships with FactSet clients and internal stakeholders Flexibility/Adaptability/Managing Multiple Priorities
  • Excellent interpersonal skills with a strong sense of initiative, team player.
  • Strong analytical and critical thinking abilities.
