Job Title: Lead – Financial Insights & Analytics 

Responsibilities & Key Deliverables 

• Business Engagement: Engage with business stakeholders (CEOs/CXOs) for strategic business analytics and enhancement projects across AFS. 

• Create avenues for business engagement by generating new business models and business optimization through tech and analytics. 

• Ensure business engagement deliverables by creating collaborative platforms with functional/business and Insights & Analytics teams. 

• Build a strong data-driven function – an internal profit centre and even health, driving cost leverage and differentiated propositions for optimization. 

• Guide teams for benchmarking and aligning with tools and methodologies in Insights & Analytics. 

• Generate avenues to enable business through analytics, customer insights, big data visualization. 

• Work closely with the AFS leadership team to identify strategic business issues, data analytics tools & techniques across AFS. 

• Lead the data analytics department to drive departmental and enterprise-wide analytics transformation. 

• Ensure quality of data from multiple sources with regard to collection, analysis and reporting. 

• Play a pivotal role in shaping analytics-based insights, strategies and operations. 

• Develop and implement business development opportunities through analytics-driven insights. 

• Manage P&L, budgets and ensure cost optimization. 

• Develop and groom team aspirations. 

• Be an analytics evangelist and subject matter expert. 

Experience 

• 15+ years of experience. 

Industry Preferred 

• Large Business Groups / Conglomerates / Specialized analytics firms / Management Consulting Firms. 

Qualifications 

• Bachelor’s in Statistics / Engineering / MBA (Tier 1) / Master’s in Statistics / Data Sciences. 

General Requirements 

• Expert in data science and modelling techniques with business understanding. 

• Knowledge of Alteryx, SAS, Python, Data Modelling etc. 

• Appreciation of market research tools. 

• Cross-functional knowledge of domains like sales and marketing, product planning and services in Automotive and Consumer Durables industry. 

• Should have managed large budgets. 

• Entrepreneurial working skills (Stakeholder management essential).
