Lead Electrical Designer

Well conversant with 2D drafting tools, Navis Freedom

(Offshore Project Design Experience in Greenfield Process Platform/ Greenfield Well Platforms and some Offshore modification Projects will carry more weightage. Clients: ONGC/Saudi Aramco / Qatar Energy / other reputed IOCs)

Role: To Lead the Electrical Layout Engineering work in a Project or Pre-Bid as Lead Checker including estimating 3D and 2D Manpower Loading, MTO Engineering, FEED Electrical Room Layouts verification

Coordination with other disciplines (e.g. Structural, Piping, Instrumentation, Mechanical,3D –Coordinator / Administrator) for necessary inputs and solutions for resolving clashes

Candidate should have a good understanding and review capability of Electrical & Piping Layouts, structural Framing Plans etc. Should be able to review other discipline IDCs related to Layout design

Should have good knowledge of Electrical Installation drawings and Electrical Switch room/Battery Room Layouts

Should independently participate in all 3D model reviews and close out of 3D model tags

Key relationships Internal to organization: Interaction with 3D Modelers/ 2D Designers, Lead Engineer, Discipline Engineers, Other Discipline Lead Designers.
