Lead Business Consultant Performance Measurement

Zensar Technologies Limited is seeking a senior‑level Lead Business Consultant to join its Reporting engagement team. The role focuses on designing, validating and implementing performance measurement and attribution methodologies for wealth‑management and asset‑management clients, translating business requirements into functional specifications, and guiding technology builds to deliver GIPS‑compliant, client‑centric reporting solutions.

Responsibilities

• Define and validate performance and attribution methodology across portfolio manager, wealth manager and advisor personas.
• Translate client requirements into detailed functional specifications and use cases for the technology build team.
• Lead client workshops, scope discussions and own related documentation (BRDs, questionnaires, use cases).
• Review mock‑up views and prototypes to ensure methodological accuracy and compliance with GIPS standards.
• Contribute to phase‑scope planning, distinguishing minimal go‑live deliverables from later enhancements.
• Support sponsor‑facing storyline material for client executives and Zensar capital markets practice collateral.
• Serve as liaison between technology build team and client business users in Agile project environments.
• Perform requirements gathering, analysis and documentation for application development projects.
• Develop business development assets such as proposals, white papers, and solution accelerators.
• Mentor junior team members, share expertise, and contribute to competency development resources.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of hands‑on experience in performance measurement and attribution for wealth or asset management clients.
• MBA or Finance degree; CFA, CIPM or FRM certification (CIPM preferred).
• Deep knowledge of time‑weighted vs money‑weighted returns, GIPS composite construction, and risk‑adjusted metrics (Sharpe, Treynor, Information Ratio, VaR).
• Experience with portfolio accounting or reporting platforms (e.g., Advent, SS&C, FIS, Confluence, StatPro, Eagle, Addepar).
• Proficient SQL skills for data validation and requirements verification.
• Ability to write clear functional specifications, use cases and conduct client interviews with minimal supervision.
• Strong client‑facing and workshop facilitation skills, able to influence senior stakeholders.
• Experience working in Agile projects and familiarity with Agile terminology.
• Excellent communication, presentation and documentation abilities across diverse cultures.
• Demonstrated mentoring, coaching and knowledge‑sharing capabilities within consulting teams.
