Location: Mumbai, India

About The Role
We are seeking a visionary Lead Architect to join our Strategic Excellence team. In this high-impact role, you will serve as a strategic architecture advisor across the full customer lifecycle, spanning presales, solution shaping, delivery guidance, and post-sales advisory. You will help customers translate complex business transformation goals into scalable, secure, and implementable enterprise solutions across MuleSoft, Salesforce, and adjacent enterprise platforms.
As a trusted technical authority, you will bridge the gap between business ambition and execution reality by defining target-state architectures, guiding integration and platform strategy, and influencing critical technology decisions. This role requires strong enterprise integration expertise, deep understanding of API-led and system-to-system architecture, and working knowledge of Salesforce and Salesforce architecture, including platform capabilities, integration patterns, governance, security, and enterprise design considerations. You will also play a visible leadership role in mentoring teams, strengthening architecture quality, and shaping reusable standards across the practice.
Key Responsibilities
- Strategic Architecture Advisory: Lead technical discovery sessions, architecture workshops, design reviews, and customer strategy discussions. Translate business transformation priorities into robust solution architectures spanning integration, platform modernization, and enterprise application connectivity.
- Presales and Opportunity Shaping: Partner with sales, account, and delivery teams to shape complex opportunities, respond to RFPs and RFIs, support effort estimation and feasibility analysis, and define differentiated technical strategies for high-value engagements. Present solution direction with credibility to both executive and technical audiences.
- Integration and Salesforce Architecture: Define high-level and detailed architectures using API-led connectivity, event-driven and service-based integration patterns, data movement strategies, and interoperability models. Apply Salesforce architecture knowledge across platform capabilities, integration approaches, security and sharing considerations, data model alignment, environment strategy, and enterprise architecture best practices, with MuleSoft as the primary integration platform and Informatica where relevant for ETL, data integration, or migration use cases.
- Visionary Solution Design: Create compelling solution narratives, reference architectures, architecture decision points, and proof-of-concept approaches that clearly connect business outcomes to technology design. Build proposals and architecture recommendations that resonate with C-suite stakeholders as well as engineering and delivery teams.
- Architecture Governance and Quality: Review and validate architectures for scalability, resilience, security, performance, maintainability, supportability, and operational fit. Identify design risks early, define governance approaches, and help teams apply standards that improve long-term platform health and implementation success.
- Cross-Platform Solution Leadership: Guide integration and architecture strategies across enterprise platforms such as Salesforce, SAP, Workday, data platforms, and cloud ecosystems. Ensure proposed solutions are aligned to broader enterprise architecture, compliance needs, and business operating models.
- Delivery Partnership: Work closely with implementation and delivery teams to ensure proposed architectures are practical, implementable, and aligned with customer expectations. Provide advisory support during delivery for design clarifications, remediation approaches, integration patterns, and solution optimization.
- Mentorship and Capability Building: Coach architects, consultants, and delivery teams on integration architecture, Salesforce architecture fundamentals, API strategy, design standards, and architecture review practices. Contribute to growing architectural maturity across the organization through mentorship and structured knowledge sharing.
- Stakeholder Engagement: Build trusted relationships with customer executives, enterprise architects, program sponsors, and technical leaders. Communicate architecture options clearly, facilitate decision-making, and influence strategic direction through strong executive presence and structured problem solving.
- Thought Leadership and Reusability: Contribute to reusable assets, reference architectures, integration blueprints, architecture playbooks, and best practices that improve consistency, delivery quality, and presales effectiveness across engagements.
Required Qualifications
- 12+ years of experience in solution architecture, enterprise integration, technical consulting, or large-scale platform implementation roles.
- Deep expertise in enterprise integration architecture, API-led connectivity, system interoperability, data movement, and modern architecture patterns for complex enterprise environments.
- Strong hands-on and architectural experience with MuleSoft as a primary integration platform, including API strategy, runtime architecture, platform governance, and implementation best practices.
- Strong knowledge of Salesforce and Salesforce architecture, including platform fundamentals, integration patterns, security and access design, governance considerations, data architecture awareness, and solution design best practices for enterprise implementations.
- Proven customer-facing experience in presales, advisory, or architecture leadership roles, with the ability to shape opportunities, conduct discovery, develop proposals, and guide strategic technical decisions.
- Strong understanding of cloud-based architectural principles, including SaaS and PaaS models, multitenant platforms, integration patterns, and enterprise application design considerations.
- Ability to identify technical design risks, define governance strategies, and guide teams toward scalable and supportable implementation outcomes.
- Excellent communication, facilitation, and presentation skills, with the ability to engage effectively with both technical and nontechnical stakeholders and demonstrate strong executive presence.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or equivalent professional experience.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with Informatica for ETL, data integration, master data movement, or migration scenarios in enterprise environments.
- Exposure to broader enterprise platforms and ecosystems such as Salesforce, SAP, Workday, AWS, Azure, and GCP in support of cross-platform transformation initiatives.
- Familiarity with Salesforce architectural domains such as integration architecture, system architecture, security architecture, environment strategy, and governance models.
- Relevant certifications such as MuleSoft Certified Architect or Platform Architect, Salesforce Certified System Architect, Salesforce Certified Integration Architect, AWS Solutions Architect, or equivalent credentials.
What We Offer
- High-Impact Work: Opportunity to shape enterprise integration and platform strategy for leading organizations undergoing complex transformation initiatives.
- Continuous Learning: Access to advanced training, certification pathways, and ongoing professional development across integration, cloud, and enterprise architecture domains.
- Collaborative Culture: Inclusive and high-performance environment where architecture leadership influences both customer success and internal practice evolution.
- Career Growth: Exposure to strategic customer programs, cross-functional leadership, and opportunities to build thought leadership in integration and platform architecture.
- Flexibility and Rewards: Competitive compensation, benefits, and adaptive working arrangements that support sustainable high performance.
