Senior Consultant/ Consultant – Java Developer Lead

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop, test, and maintain robust backend systems using Java and Spring Boot
• Work closely with tax professionals and other stakeholders to understand requirements and deliver software solutions that meet their needs.
• Participate in the full software development lifecycle, including requirements gathering, design, coding, testing, and deployment.
• Ensure the performance, quality, and responsiveness of applications.
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues.
• Collaborate with DevOps teams to integrate software development processes with deployment and operations.
• Mentor junior developers and conduct code reviews to maintain high code quality standards.
  
  

Required Qualifications:

• 7 years of experience in software development.
• Strong proficiency in Java, including experience with OOP concepts, Spring Boot and related frameworks.
• Solid understanding of RESTful API design and implementation.
• Experience with databases, both SQL and NoSQL.
• Familiarity with version control systems, such as Git etc.
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Experience in the financial services industry
• Knowledge of cloud computing platforms like AWS or Azure
• Familiarity with containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes)
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines and tools
