Position Overview

The IT Infrastructure Solution Architect will lead the design, implementation, and optimization of robust, scalable IT infrastructure solutions supporting mission-critical financial systems. Reporting into the Tech Infra leadership team, this role ensures end-to-end project execution—from concept to go-live—while maintaining compliance with NPCI audit and regulatory guidelines and driving collaboration across Product, Operations, and Technology teams.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and architect enterprise-grade server and compute solutions using VMware vSphere/ESXi/vCenter, OpenStack, OpenShift, and KVM.
• Develop and manage storage environments including SAN, NAS, and object storage using technologies such as NetApp, EMC, HPE, and Dell PowerStore.
• Implement enterprise backup, recovery, and Disaster Recovery (DR) solutions with Commvault, Veeam, and Veritas NetBackup to ensure high availability and business continuity.
• Design and deploy hybrid cloud infrastructure integrating on-premises systems with AWS, Azure, and GCP using Direct Connect and ExpressRoute.
• Architect and manage data center networks leveraging Cisco ACI, SDN, and SD-WAN technologies for secure, automated connectivity.
• Lead infrastructure design and execution for data center refreshes, cloud migrations, and infrastructure transformation initiatives.
• Ensure compliance with PCI-DSS, ISO 27001, and internal IT governance standards across all infrastructure projects.
• Collaborate with application, DevOps, cybersecurity, and compliance teams to align infrastructure with business and regulatory requirements.
• Produce detailed architecture documentation including HLD/LLD, SOPs, and knowledge transfer materials.
• Evaluate and manage vendors and OEM partners such as Cisco, Dell, NetApp, VMware, Red Hat, HPE, AWS, and Microsoft.
  
  
  

• Education: Graduation (preferably BE/B.Tech) or professional degrees like MBA or equivalent.
• Experience: 18 years of leadership experience in IT infrastructure architecture, design, and implementation.
• Leadership: Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams and manage large-scale infrastructure programs across hybrid environments.
• Technical Expertise: Deep knowledge of server virtualization, storage technologies, cloud integration, ACI, SDN, SD-WAN, backup & DR, and hybrid cloud design.
• Certifications: VCP, Red Hat Certified Specialist, CCNP or Cisco ACI Specialist, AWS/Azure Certified Solutions Architect, ITIL Foundation, CISSP or CISM (preferred).
• Soft Skills: Strong problem-solving, analytical, and stakeholder communication abilities; adept at cross-functional collaboration and documentation excellence.
