What you will do

The IT Service Manager is responsible for ensuring the reliable operation and continuous improvement of IT solutions supporting global operations, including supply chain and production systems. This role encompasses the management and support of applications such as Supply Chain Planning, Digital Maintenance, and Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES). The position contributes to operational excellence by delivering high-quality IT services aligned with business needs.

  • Manage the lifecycle of applications serving global operations, including configuration, deployment, and maintenance.
  • Ensure system availability, performance, and data integrity.
  • Coordinate updates, patches, and system enhancements with vendors and partners
  • Manage the rollout of production related software
  • Provide first and second level support for operational IT solutions, ensuring timely resolution of incidents and service requests.
  • Document solutions and create knowledge articles.
  • Coordinate software release packaging, license management, and system configurations in alignment with IT service management (ITSM) standards.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders and external partners to ensure service continuity and performance.
  • Monitor and report on service metrics, proactively identifying areas for improvement.


What you will need

Educational Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business Informatics, or a related field.
  • Fluent in English; German is a plus.


Relevant experience

  • Minimum of 5 years of professional experience in IT service management, application support, or a similar role.
  • Proven experience with supply chain and production-related IT solutions (e.g., MES, maintenance systems, planning tools).
  • Familiarity with ITSM frameworks such as ITIL is highly desirable.
