GIS Analyst Mumbai Bengaluru - ENS

Description

We are seeking a detail-oriented, collaborative, and forward-thinking Mid-Level GIS Specialist to join our team. In this role, you will use Esri software suites, web-based GIS applications such as ArcGIS Online, and mobile data collection platforms to support intermediate to complex environmental projects.

The ideal candidate has 3 to 4 years of professional GIS experience, demonstrates strong technical proficiency in spatial analysis and data management, and the ability to thrive in a multidisciplinary environment. You will work closely with project managers, GIS leads, and field scientists to deliver high-quality geospatial solutions.

Job Responsibilities

• Create high-quality mapping deliverables
• Develop and maintain GIS databases and hosted feature layers to store and manage spatial data
• Perform intermediate spatial analysis and geoprocessing to support environmental projects
• Build and configure Web applications, including webmaps and dashboards, utilizing ArcGIS Online
• Support the automation of GIS workflows using Python, JavaScript, SQL, or C#
• Learn and use GIS tools like FME Desktop/Server or other open-source GIS software.
  
  

• Required: 3-4 years of professional GIS experience.
• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Geography or related field and/or GIS Certification
• Intermediate knowledge of and demonstrated proficiency with Esri software and core GIS principles
• Experience using GIS in the environmental or utility sector (preferred)
• Experience with Python, JavaScript, SQL, C#, FME Form, FME Flow, or other open-source GIS software (preferred)
• Experience with mobile field apps such as Field Maps or Survey123 (preferred)
• Willingness to learn new GIS tools and automation techniques
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Ability to manage multiple project deadlines concurrently in a fast-paced environment.
