Role Overview

We are seeking a Full Stack Tech Lead who thrives at the intersection of frontend elegance and backend reliability. You will lead a cross-functional team to build and ship high-impact product features while raising the engineering bar across the stack.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide technical guidance and individual contributor across both frontend (Next.js) and backend (Node.js) layers of our product.
• Contribute to technical architecture and mentor team end-to-end features, ensuring cohesive design between APIs, data models, and UI components.
• Set standards for code quality, testing strategy, and deployment practices across the full stack.
• Partner with Product and Design to translate requirements into well-scoped technical plans.
• Lead and mentor a team of full-stack engineers through code reviews, design discussions, and regular feedback.
• Drive performance improvements across frontend rendering (SSR/CSR) and backend response times.
• Own the technical roadmap for your product domain, balancing feature delivery with platform health.
• Champion accessibility and responsive design best practices.
• Coordinate cross-team dependencies, identify risks, and communicate status to stakeholders.
• Contribute to hiring, onboarding, and growing the full-stack engineering team.
  
  

• 8+ years of full-stack development experience, with at least 2 years in a lead role.
• Strong proficiency in React (hooks, context, state management) and Next.js (App Router, SSR, SSG, ISR).
• Good backend experience with Java (Spring Boot) and/or Node.js (Express / NestJS).
• Experience designing and consuming RESTful APIs and GraphQL endpoints.
• Proficiency with relational and NoSQL databases and ORM tools (Hibernate, Prisma, TypeORM).
• Hands-on experience with cloud deployments on AWS or GCP, including serverless and containerised workloads.
• Familiarity with testing frameworks across the stack — Jest, React Testing Library, JUnit, Supertest.
• Strong understanding of web security (XSS, CSRF, Content Security Policy, HTTPS).
  
  

• Experience with state management libraries — Redux Toolkit, Zustand, or Jotai.
• Knowledge of WebSockets or Server-Sent Events for real-time UI updates.
• Familiarity with design systems and component libraries (Storybook, Radix UI, shadcn/ui).
• Background in Agile/Scrum environments with a track record of on-time delivery.
