We are seeking a diligent and detail-oriented format editor to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the implementation of edits in client financial statements and subsequent letters and reporting packages associated with those statements. This role involves ensuring the accuracy and compliance of all documentation, managing multiple clients reports weekly, and effectively communicating with audit staff and team members.

Job Responsibilities

  • Implement edits in client financial statements and associated letters and reporting packages
  • Edit and assemble electronic documents outside of firm software for supplemental documentation
  • Integrate client-prepared documents with firm-created documents as needed
  • Mitigate risk by enforcing assurance rules and procedures during the editing process
  • Assist with financial statement release by ensuring all approvals and compliance forms are completed
  • Manage up to 60+ separate client reports weekly and ensure individual deadlines are met
  • Work as part of a team while maintaining individual workload with minimal oversight
  • Cross-check critical data between documents and applications for accuracy
  • Identify and address discrepancies in data
  • Maintain quality of work despite new tasks and short turnaround times
  • Use footing tools to verify values within financial statements
  • Communicate professionally and promptly with audit staff and team members

Experience

  • 1–2 years in financial reporting or compilation
  • Strong communication skills

Qualifications

  • Bachelors degree with at least 1 year of relevant experience
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Word and Excel
  • Adobe Acrobat experience preferred
  • Detail-oriented and well-organized
  • Effective communicator
  • Familiarity with AP Style and proofreading is a plus
