Position - Lead – Fire & Safety (West Residential)

Experience – Min 10 Years

Qualification – Fire Engineering / Sub Officer Training(Govt) or Diploma & ADIS (MSBTE)

Core Responsibilities

  • Lead and oversee the site fire safety officers/managers for all Fire and Safety matters across all sites of western region, ensuring compliance and alignment with internal requirements and local regulatory requirements, and optimal performance.
  • Ensure all fire safety issues are timely captured and remedial actions are followed up to completion. Working with site teams to ensure fire safety related compliance is maintained.
  • Responsible to conduct departmental internal audits across all sites of western region and ensure all corrective actions are completed to agreed timescales..
  • Responsible to lead the effective implementation of ERT And the fire safety best practises program and company initiatives across all sites of west region.
  • Responsible to lead monitor and evaluate fire safety Representative performance across west region.
  • Responsible for providing departmental training across all sites of western region.
  • Responsible to conduct annual oversight review on site specific fire safety plans, SOPs & Checklists.
  • Ensure fire incidents are correctly captured, managed and incident investigations conducted to determine incident root cause, follow up on remedial actions, preventive measures and lessons learnt for continuous improvement. Trend analysis of incidents quarterly.
  • Ensure emergency response plan and disaster management plan are adequate and timely reviewed.
  • Provide necessary training, guidance, and oversight to the site team to ensure effective implementation of the standard operating procedures.
  • Oversee the effective implementation of emergency drills, and ensure post-drill review reports are completed to capture observations and areas for improvement.
  • Prepare monthly fire safety report for the portfolio and proposed actions for continuous improvement.
  • Host six monthly fire safety governance meetings with the FSO & City Leads to ensure effective implementation of the Fire and Life Safety program and initiatives.
  • Monthly review to oversee recruitment of FSO & Fire Wardens are adequate and compliance with local regulatory requirement, and per fire safety requirement to cover all operation shifts.
