External Job Description

Job Purpose:

Support the demand planning function through forecast generation, data analysis, reporting, process execution, and automation initiatives. The role requires strong analytical capabilities, proficiency in Excel, and coding skills to drive data-driven decision-making and continuous process improvement.

Primary Responsibilities

• Execute end-to-end demand forecasting cycles.
• Develop and maintain demand forecasts across multiple levels of aggregation and time horizons.
• Analyze historical sales trends and forecast performance
• Prepare and maintain demand planning dashboards, reports, and KPIs.
• Collaborate with stakeholders like Distribution, Central Planning, New Product teams, IT etc.
• Ensure data quality and master data accuracy within planning systems.
• Identify opportunities for process automation and efficiency improvement
• Support demand planning projects and continuous improvement initiatives
• Generate insights and recommendations to improve forecast accuracy
