• analyze macroeconomic trend to have implications on the larger economy
• build and maintain databases and models to evaluate vast amounts of information
• provide economic views based on rigorous analysis of data trends
• comfortable with econometric packages like R, Eviews etc and market data packages including Bloomberg, CEIC, CMIE etc
• write clearly and explain complicated thoughts
• work collaboratively in a team setting and take leadership of projects

Your team

You’ll be working with the India Economics Research team in Mumbai, focused on both India economies. The head of India Economics is Tanvee Gupta Jain. Your team is responsible for views on the Indian economy, macro stability risks and its implication on various economic parameters.

Typical Outputs

• Data tables and charts for research publications
• Background analysis and briefing notes
• Contributions to economic outlooks and thematic research
  
  

Your expertise

• Master’s in economics from reputed University
• 2+ years of experience in financial markets or related industry
• basic understanding of macroeconomics, equities, and other asset classes
• strong data and technical skills including statistics, econometrics
• detail oriented but also have the ability to see the big picture
• an excellent communicator
