The Opportunity

The Director - Training will lead enterprise training operations across Mumbai sites, driving learning excellence, operational consistency, and business impact for global BFSI clients. This role is responsible for building scalable training frameworks, developing high-performing teams, partnering with operations and clients, and using data-driven insights to enhance performance, quality, and customer experience.

The Responsibilities & Duties

• Lead training operations across 2-3 sites, ensuring consistent delivery, governance, and measurable business outcomes.
• Design and implement scalable training strategies and learning frameworks aligned with client and business requirements.
• Manage training for global BFSI programs, including Banking, AML/KYC, Cards, FinTech, Cryptocurrency, Credit, and Payments.
• Partner with Operations, Training, and Client stakeholders to improve performance, productivity, and customer experience.
• Standardize training processes, policies, and best practices across multiple accounts and locations.
• Analyze training effectiveness, business metrics, and performance data to identify improvement opportunities and drive action plans.
• Lead, coach, and develop a team of Training Managers and Specialists while fostering a high-performance culture.
• Ensure compliance with client requirements, regulatory standards, and organizational learning governance.
• Present training insights, performance dashboards, and recommendations to senior leadership and clients.
  
  

The Qualifications

• Graduate with 12–15+ years of experience in the BPO/BFSI industry, including significant experience leading large-scale training functions.
• Proven experience managing training operations for global BFSI clients across Banking, AML/KYC, Cards, FinTech, Payments, or related domains.
• Demonstrated success in leading large training teams supporting operations of 3,000+ FTEs with multiple direct reports.
• Strong expertise in training strategy, instructional design, learning operations, and performance management.
• Experience working with global stakeholders and driving cross-functional collaboration.
• Strong analytical, communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills.
• Six Sigma Green Belt or Black Belt certification preferred.
• Ability to lead multiple priorities, drive continuous improvement, and deliver results in a fast-paced environment.
• Experience with data-driven decision-making, training metrics, and learning effectiveness measurement is highly preferred.
