Job Description
- Growth Strategy & Portfolio Opportunities
- Identify strategic growth opportunities across content, distribution, partnerships, consumer engagement, and emerging business areas
- Drive portfolio-level interventions to improve scale, efficiency, and long-term business outcomes
- Evaluate market shifts, competitive trends, and evolving consumer behaviour to shape strategic priorities
- Support leadership teams to improve growth, monetization and operating efficiency across businesses
- White Spaces & Strategic Interventions
- Identify structural gaps and whitespace opportunities across the entertainment ecosystem
- Develop business cases for new opportunities, partnerships and expansion opportunities
- Partner with cross-functional teams to unlock opportunities across linear, streaming, studios, and emerging platforms
- Drive high-impact strategic initiatives requiring enterprise-wide alignment
- New Growth Engines & Scaled Initiatives
- Work with leadership teams to conceptualize and scale new growth initiatives (e.g., IP extensions, consumer experiences, new formats, partnerships)
- Support execution and scale-up of high-potential initiatives across platforms and markets
- Define success metrics and track performance of new initiatives against business objectives
- Drive problem-solving and course correction to ensure scalability and sustainability
- Cross-Functional Leadership & Alignment
- Work across multiple teams to drive alignment on strategic priorities and enterprise-wide initiatives
- Enable collaboration between business, content, product, distribution, finance, and partnership teams
- Facilitate execution of high-priority initiatives through stakeholder alignment and governance mechanisms
- Bring together diverse inputs into cohesive strategic recommendations for leadership
- Leadership Narratives & Executive Communication
- Develop high-quality strategy decks, executive briefs, and business narratives for senior leadership
- Synthesize market, consumer, competitive, and business insights into clear strategic recommendations
- Support leadership communication around business priorities, growth opportunities, and long-term direction
- Build structured narratives to support key decision-making forums
Success Metrics
- Measurable impact on revenue growth, audience expansion, or new business initiatives
- Number and quality of new growth opportunities identified and validated
- Successful execution and scaling of strategic initiatives
- Strength of cross-functional alignment and delivery timelines
- Quality and influence of strategic recommendations in leadership decision-making
