About The Role

We are seeking an experienced and highly motivated DevOps Engineer to join our team supporting an enterprise e-commerce environment. In this role, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining the infrastructure and tooling that enables development teams to build, deploy, and operate applications efficiently and securely.

The ideal candidate is passionate about automation, cloud infrastructure, CI/CD best practices, and building highly available, scalable systems.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design, implement, and manage infrastructure as code using tools such as Terraform.
  • Ensure the security, availability, and performance of our cloud infrastructure.
  • Collaborate with development teams to ensure smooth deployment and operation of services.
  • Implement and manage CI/CD pipelines to automate the build, test, and deployment processes.
  • Monitor system performance and troubleshoot issues as they arise.
  • Develop and maintain documentation for DevOps processes and procedures.
  • Mentor junior engineers and provide technical guidance and leadership.
  • Participate in architecture and design reviews to ensure best practices are followed.
  • Identify and implement improvements to enhance our infrastructure's scalability, reliability, and efficiency.

Required Qualifications

  • 4+ years of experience in software development and DevOps/operations (candidates with additional experience are encouraged to apply).
  • Strong experience with AWS cloud services.
  • Proficiency with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools such as Terraform.
  • Experience with Docker and Kubernetes.
  • Experience with ArgoCD.
  • Strong understanding of security best practices and security tools.
  • Experience with monitoring and logging tools such as: Splunk; New Relic; Prometheus; Grafana; ELK Stack
  • Experience implementing and managing CI/CD pipelines and automated testing frameworks.
  • Strong scripting experience with Python, Bash, or PowerShell.
  • Excellent analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to quickly and accurately estimate the cost and effort required to deliver technical features.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience supporting e-commerce platforms.
  • Familiarity with managed cloud services and serverless architectures.
  • Knowledge of networking concepts and protocols.
  • Experience with configuration management tools such as Ansible, Chef, or Puppet.
