What can you expect:
The Deputy Manager – Accounting Operations supervise and mentor a team of T&E specialists, providing guidance on complex audit T&E claims and ensuring timely processing of audits. Act as a liaison between the India team, regional/global business partners, and leadership to resolve audit escalations.
Responsible for independently verifying vendor bank account details to prevent fraud, payment errors, and unauthorized changes. Ensure that all vendor bank details are validated through secure and compliant processes before payments are released.

We will count on you to:
- Post-Payment Audit & Compliance: Perform detailed audits of employee expense reports and corporate card statements after payment to ensure adherence to company T&E policies
- Fraud Detection & Analysis: Analyze expense data using Power BI T&E Dashboard to identify fraud, duplicate payments, and policy breaches.
- Process Improvement: Identify gaps in current T&E processes and implement improvements to strengthen internal controls and increase cost efficiency.
- Month-End Reporting: Prepare monthly reports on audit findings, exceptions, and non-compliance.
- Perform independent verification of vendor bank details
Validate vendor information using:
- Bank confirmation (via official channels)
- Vendor callback verification
- Supporting documents
- Ensure compliance with internal controls and regulatory frameworks related to Fraud and Money Laundering
- Document verification steps and maintain audit trails
- Work closely with Fiduciary Team and Compliance teams
- Support internal and external audits by providing required documentation
- Ensure adherence to company policies and regulatory guidelines
- Handle escalations related to failed or disputed verifications
Note: Applicants should be flexible working in shifts if needed.
What you need to have:
- Overall 8+ years relevant business experience in Finance and Accounting
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Attention to detail
- Show initiative and contribute to a continuous improvement environment
- Proficient in MS Office, Advanced Excel and PowerPoint
- Highly proficient in data analysis and data extraction and manipulation
- Proven track record of delivering to deadlines
- Active team player with the ability to work across geographies
- Be open for new challenges and willing to undertake additional responsibilities
