We are looking for Depot Upgradation Manager

You’ll make a difference by

  • Plan and execute depot modernization and expansion projects.
  • Upgrade maintenance bays, workshops, inspection pits, lifting systems, washing plants, wheel maintenance facilities, and testing equipment.
  • Develop layouts for improved workflow and maintenance efficiency.
  • Coordinate civil, electrical, mechanical, and utility infrastructure works.
  • Prepare project scope, timelines, budgets, and resource plans.
  • Monitor project progress against milestones.
  • Coordinate contractors, consultants, OEMs, and internal stakeholders.
  • Ensure timely completion within approved cost and quality standards.
  • Conduct project review meetings and submit progress reports.
  • Identify infrastructure gaps based on fleet expansion and maintenance requirements.
  • Prepare depot capacity enhancement plans.
  • Recommend new technologies and automation.
  • Develop long-term depot master plans
  • Ensure compliance with statutory regulations.
  • Implement safety improvements.
  • Conduct risk assessments before project execution.
  • Ensure compliance with electrical, fire, environmental, and occupational safety standards.
  • Coordinate with all stake holders
  • Follows the applicable Safety Rules, Regulations and Procedures

Desired Skills

  • Bachelor’s degree / Diploma in Electrical / Electronics / Mechanical or equivalent with min. 10 years of working experience.
  • Min 5 years of demonstrated experience in railway industry
  • Good command of both the spoken and written English language
  • Very good communication skills
