Key Responsibilities

Develops & Implement plans and solutions in order to ensure Customs compliance and process optimization. Contributes to the definition and implementation of Customs Control regulations in own area of responsibility.

• Defines and Implement country specific Customs processes and procedures
• Managing and liaising with all External stake holders for effective implementation of process
• Provides tailor made solutions to meet business requirement to become business enabler
• Ensure that all internal rules and regulations are complied with law of land
• Monitors and ensures corrective actions derived from external and internal changing laws, reviews and audits.
• Carries out trainings and reviews to guarantee adherence to Customs regulations like AERB, BIS & WPC
• Enables consulting for other organizational units as well as Best Practice Sharing for Import & export
• Deep knowledge on classification of Materials based on HSN
• In-depth knowledge of functioning of ministries pertains to Healthcare / FMCG sector
  
  

• Minimum 15 Years of relevant experience in Import & Export related compliances
• Strong knowledge of compliance documentation requirements,
• Process improvisation, Refund process
• Must have knowledge of dealing with Brokers for Custom Clearances
