Job Position:

Controlling Professional – Guidelines & Principles (GP)

Education Qualification:

Chartered Accountant with 5 -10 years of post-qualification experience

Skill sets required:

Strong technical knowledge of Ind AS / IFRS, experience of designing and testing of ICFR, working knowledge of SAP, understanding of accounting processes and analytical mindset. Good communication and presentation skills.

Job Responsibilities:

• Issuing opinion on technical accounting queries raised by various department within the organization. Understanding the business / accounting issue and conducting research under Ind AS / IFRS / Siemens financial reporting framework.
• Develop accounting policies for local / global reporting for various areas like revenue recognition, warranty, derivative, inventory etc.
• Responsible for implementation of new accounting standards / amendment to accounting standards within the organisation
• Develop ICFR key controls, co-ordinate with ICFR team for ensuring smooth implementation of controls.
• Deliver monthly trainings on accounting topic within organisation.
• Participate along with business in project update meetings and provide inputs / guidance from accounting perspective.
• Review team member’s work and provide guidance to team on approach to be followed for deliverables.
• Providing guidance to various teams on usage of Siemens Chart of Accounts (SCOA) for specific queries.
• Dealing with statutory auditors for resolving technical accounting queries and ICFR related queries.
• Responsible for proactively identifying digitalization initiatives to simplify existing processes.
