The GIC Supply Chain team manages end-to-end operations, encompassing planning, sourcing, manufacturing, logistics, and analytics. They strategically plan to meet market demands, optimize sourcing, ensure efficient production, and oversee the seamless movement of goods from production to delivery. The team employs advanced analytics throughout these processes, fostering adaptability and operational excellence. Purpose of the role

The Supply Chain Adv. Analytics team is responsible for developing innovative solutions and advanced capabilities that enhance decision-making across the supply chain. This team collaborates closely with all supply chain functions—including planning, sourcing, manufacturing, distribution, and customer service—as well as business units and cross-functional partners to drive business value through data-driven insights. By leveraging advanced analytics, the team enables step-change improvements in business processes and operational efficiency.

The purpose of the role is to effectively manage and solve moderate-complexity supply chain challenges while ensuring alignment between business needs and technical solutions. This involves gathering requirements, collaborating on project scopes, and translating them into actionable technical specifications. The role emphasizes data-driven analysis to enhance decision-making and efficiency using Agile methodologies for project execution. Additionally, it encompasses leading data modeling and business intelligence development efforts, optimizing ETL processes, and fostering collaboration to deliver scalable data solutions. The role also includes providing technical leadership, coaching team members, and driving continuous improvement initiatives to enhance the analytics functions overall performance.

Key Accountabilities

• Requirement Gathering, Supply Chain Problem Solving & Stakeholder management:
• Work on moderate-complexity supply chain (SC) problems, identify opportunities, and recommend effective solutions leveraging subject matter expertise (SME).
• Conduct thorough requirement gathering, collaborate on project scoping, and translate business requirements into detailed technical specifications for solution architecture and development (low to moderately complex projects).
• Participate in design reviews, feedback, and stakeholder training / demo sessions to meet business needs.
• Partner across business and D&T teams ensuring smooth solution development and support where necessary.
• Analysis, Project Execution & Delivery Management
• Develop and present data-driven recommendations and communicate insights to stakeholders, focusing on improving efficiency and enhancing decision-making for low to moderate complex projects.
• Utilize Agile methodologies to prioritize tasks, set daily objectives, provide accurate estimates, and ensure effective end-to-end project delivery while implementing robust project documentation and governance frameworks.
• Maintain and enhance solution processes to support ongoing project success and stakeholder engagement.
• Data Modelling & Business Intelligence Development
• Lead data discovery, develop, and maintain moderately complex ETL processes in GCP / SQL for extracting, transforming data from diverse data sources as per business problem needs.
• Work independently with limited supervision in data modelling, ETL development, and BI tool development.
• Design, develop, and optimize scalable data solutions, ensuring efficient data processing and BI tools.
• Collaborate with Solution Development teams to bring new scalable solutions to business functions.
• Technical Leadership & Coaching
• Execute technology and solution roadmaps aligned with business needs and team’s broader strategic objectives.
• Enhance the technical and functional competency of the analytics team through continuous coaching and mentorship.
• Review and provide feedback on the work of Analysts and Senior Analysts, ensuring high-quality deliverables.
• Facilitate continuous improvement initiatives, driving efficiency and innovation within the analytics function under guidance of Analytics leadership organization.
  
  

Minimum Qualifications

• Education: Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university (Mandatory). Master’s degree preferred
• Experience: 5+ years of experience in data development, analysis, or visualization, with demonstrated technical acumen.
• Skills:
• Expertise in data ETL, SQL/BigQuery query writing, and visualization best practices.
• Proficiency in Google Cloud Platform (GCP), Advanced Excel, Tableau, and SQL Server.
• Effectively communicate at all levels within the organization. Clearly articulate ideas in both written and verbal formats.
• Strong collaboration skills with stakeholders and team members, maintaining a positive and constructive attitude.

• Major Area of Study: B.E., B.Tech.,
