Climate Data Specialist (AI Training)

• Design, solve, and review advanced environmental science problems with real-world relevance and scientific depth
• Apply your expertise in climate modeling, ecology, sustainability, or related disciplines to create complex, meaningful problem sets
• Evaluate AI-generated responses for scientific accuracy, rigor, and clarity
• Collaborate asynchronously with AI researchers and fellow domain experts to strengthen AI reasoning in environmental science
• Ensure all deliverables meet high standards of scientific integrity and precision
• Work independently on task-based assignments — fully on your own schedule
  
  

• Holds a Master's or PhD in Environmental Science, Atmospheric Science, Ecology, Earth Systems, or a closely related field
• Strong hands-on experience with Python or R for research, data analysis, or modelling
• Deep expertise in at least one of: climate modeling, ecology, sustainability science, or environmental data analysis
• Exceptional written communication skills — you can explain complex science with clarity and precision
• Naturally detail-oriented, rigorous, and self-motivated when working independently
• Fluent in English
  
  

• Prior experience with data annotation, data quality assessment, or AI evaluation workflows
• Familiarity with large environmental datasets (e.g., ERA5, CMIP6, remote sensing data)
• Background in science communication, academic writing, or peer review
• Experience working across interdisciplinary teams or in research collaboration settings
