YOUR IMPACT

As the Partner Marketing Manager for APJ & MEA at OpenText, you will own the execution of partner marketing programs that drive revenue growth through our partner ecosystem across Asia Pacific, Japan, the Middle East, Africa, and Turkey. This is a hands-on, individual-contributor role responsible for translating OpenText's global partner marketing strategy into regionally relevant programs — with direct ownership of Market Development Funds (MDF) planning, allocation, and performance tracking across the region. You will work closely with the Senior Director of Partner Marketing, regional sales leadership, and field marketing to ensure partner programs are locally activated, funded appropriately, and tied to measurable pipeline outcomes. As a key regional contributor to the Field & Partner Marketing organization, you'll help ensure that global partner marketing strategy lands effectively in APJ & MEA's diverse and fast-growing markets.

What The Role Offers

• Own the regional execution of the global partner marketing strategy, adapting programs to APJ & MEA market dynamics and partner maturity levels.
• Manage the MDF program for APJ & MEA end-to-end: partner fund allocation, claims and compliance, budget tracking, and ROI reporting.
• Execute joint go-to-market programs with strategic regional partners (system integrators, resellers, distributors, and technology alliances) to expand market reach and generate pipeline.
• Build and maintain working relationships with partner marketing and channel leads at key regional partner organizations.
• Coordinate with regional Sales, Field Marketing, and central Partner Marketing/Product Marketing to keep partner engagement aligned with regional GTM priorities.
• Plan and deliver regional partner campaigns, events, sponsorships, and enablement content that support global partner marketing initiatives.
• Track and report on partner marketing performance using data-driven insights, feeding regional results back into the global program.
• Represent OpenText partner marketing at regional partner events, summits, and enablement sessions.
  
  

What Do You Need To Succeed

• Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field.
• 8+ years of experience in partner marketing, channel marketing, or MDF/fund management, ideally within the software or technology sector.
• Demonstrated experience managing MDF programs, including fund allocation, claims processes, and compliance tracking.
• Experience executing partner marketing programs across multiple countries or a diverse regional footprint (APJ and/or MEA experience is a plus).
• Strong project management and organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple partner programs and stakeholders simultaneously.
• Good working knowledge of partner ecosystems, channel dynamics, and joint go-to-market execution.
• Ability to work effectively in a matrixed organization, coordinating with global, regional, and local stakeholders without formal authority over them.
• Working knowledge of partner enablement content, co-marketing program execution, and regional campaign delivery.
• Solid analytical skills, with the ability to turn program data into clear performance reporting and recommendations.
