Business Head

We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Business Head to lead the Mining and Construction business division. This is a strategic leadership role with end-to-end responsibility for business growth, P&L, sales, operations, innovation, and international expansion.

The ideal candidate will have a strong track record of building and scaling businesses within the mining and construction sector, managing large client relationships, developing distribution channels, and driving profitable growth across multiple geographies.

Key Responsibilities

Business Growth & Strategy

• Develop and execute the overall business strategy for the Mining and Construction segment.
• Identify new markets, business opportunities, strategic partnerships, and key accounts.
• Drive revenue growth and expand the organizations footprint across domestic and international markets.
• Build the business toward becoming a preferred partner for leading mining and construction organizations.

P&L Management

• Own complete P&L responsibility for the business across multiple geographies.
• Drive revenue, profitability, cost optimization, and sustainable business growth.
• Establish business targets, budgets, KPIs, and performance metrics.
• Monitor financial performance and take corrective actions to achieve business objectives.

Sales & Channel Development

• Lead enterprise and strategic sales initiatives across the mining and construction ecosystem.
• Build and manage reseller and channel partner networks across key regions.
• Develop relationships with major mining companies, construction organizations, equipment contractors, logistics companies, and government institutions.
• Drive large strategic accounts and long-term commercial partnerships.

Product & Market Development

• Work closely with R&D and product teams to develop solutions aligned with mining and construction industry requirements.
• Identify emerging customer needs and translate market insights into new product and business opportunities.
• Monitor industry trends, regulatory developments, competitive activity, and technological advancements.

Operational Excellence

• Oversee business operations, supply chain, service delivery, and operational efficiency.
• Develop scalable processes that support business expansion across geographies.
• Ensure high standards of customer service, delivery, and operational performance.

Leadership & Stakeholder Management

• Build, mentor, and lead a high-performing, geographically distributed team.
• Establish a strong performance-oriented culture focused on accountability and growth.
• Present regular MIS, business performance updates, market insights, opportunities, and risks to executive leadership and board-level stakeholders.

Requirements

• 15–18+ years of overall experience in the mining and construction industry.
• 5–7 years of experience in P&L/business leadership roles.
• Proven experience in building, scaling, and growing businesses within mining, construction, or related heavy-industry sectors.
• Strong experience managing international markets, preferably across MENA and Asia.
• Significant understanding of mining operations and experience transitioning into equipment sales, commercial leadership, and P&L ownership.
• Proven track record of delivering revenue growth and improving profitability.
• Strong enterprise sales, business development, and strategic account management experience.
• Experience building and managing reseller, distributor, or channel networks.
• Strong relationships with major mining and construction companies and industry stakeholders.
• Bachelors degree in Engineering, Business, or a related discipline; MBA is preferred.
• Entrepreneurial mindset with the ability to operate independently and make high-impact decisions.
• Strong strategic thinking, commercial acumen, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.
• Highly adaptable, agile, results-oriented, and committed to strong professional ethics and integrity.
