Position Overview

The Business Head – Paediatric & Diabetes Division will join the leadership team, reporting directly to the COO. This role carries full P&L accountability for a division with an annual turnover of Rs 370–400 crores, driving strategic and operational excellence to achieve growth and profitability objectives.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead full P&L management for the division, ensuring revenue growth and profitability.
  • Develop and execute annual business plans aligned with organizational goals and financial targets.
  • Formulate and implement strategic initiatives to enhance market share in the Paediatric & Diabetes Therapy segment.
  • Identify market trends, competitive intelligence, and expansion opportunities to refine business strategy.
  • Drive business development initiatives for acute therapy products in India and international markets.
  • Oversee the full product life cycle—from conceptualization to commercialization—ensuring a competitive portfolio.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with R&D, regulatory affairs, and marketing to deliver innovative solutions.
  • Implement market penetration strategies and build strategic partnerships with healthcare stakeholders.
  • Develop and execute sales strategies to meet or exceed annual revenue targets.
  • Ensure full regulatory compliance across all product lines and markets.
  • Build, mentor, and lead a high-performing team, fostering a culture of innovation and accountability.


Required Experience & Qualifications

  • Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Pharmacy, Business Administration, or a related field; MBA preferred.
  • Experience: 12–15 years of progressive leadership experience in the pharmaceutical industry, focused on Paediatric & Diabetes therapy products.
  • Leadership: Proven success managing P&L for a division or business unit with revenues of Rs 250–400 crores or more; experience leading cross-functional teams and reporting to senior executives.
  • Technical Expertise: Deep understanding of the Indian pharmaceutical market, regulatory landscape, and healthcare trends.
  • Soft Skills: Exceptional leadership, communication, and interpersonal abilities; strategic and results-driven mindset.
