About the role and what you’ll do

This is an entry-level Business Development role focused on new customer acquisition. The successful candidate will identify business opportunities, engage prospective customers, and support the complete sales cycle from lead generation to order closure.

This role is ideal for young professionals who enjoy meeting customers, learning about technology, and building a successful career in B2B sales.

• Identify and develop new business opportunities across Banking, Financial Services, FinTech, Government, Telecom, and Enterprise sectors
• Generate leads through market research, cold calling, networking, digital outreach, and customer visits
• Build relationships with prospective customers and understand their business requirements
• Prepare customer presentations, proposals, quotations, and commercial offers
• Coordinate with internal teams to develop customer solutions and proposals
• Participate in customer meetings, industry events, exhibitions, and conferences
• Maintain an updated sales pipeline and CRM records
• Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and emerging customer opportunities
• Achieve assigned sales targets and contribute to business growth

About you

You're a motivated and ambitious individual with a passion for sales and building customer relationships. You enjoy identifying new business opportunities, engaging with prospective clients, and are eager to develop your career in B2B sales. With excellent communication skills, a proactive mindset, and a willingness to learn, you thrive in a fast-paced, target-driven environment and are excited to contribute to business growth.

Experience and knowledge

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Engineering, or a related field (MBA/PGDM is an advantage)
• 0–2 years of experience in sales or business development; recent graduates with a strong passion for sales are encouraged to apply
• Excellent verbal, written, presentation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong customer relationships
• Self-motivated, proactive, and results-driven, with strong negotiation and problem-solving abilities
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, including Excel, PowerPoint, and Word

✨Location, travel and eligibility

• You must have, or be able to obtain, a valid passport and be legally eligible to work in the country where you are hired
• Preferred location is Chennai or Gurugram; however, we are open to candidates based elsewhere in India, provided they can meet the travel and business requirements of the role.
