Business Development Manager - EAC

Position: Business Development Manager – Elmech & DAS

Reporting To: National Manager - Elmech & DAS

Location: West

Position Summary:

Drive business development and front end sales for the Electronic division of ASSA ABLOY

Roles and Responsibilities:

• Actively promote ASSA ABLOY Electromechanical and Electronic access control (EAC) products and solutions in system integration channel.
• Support channel partners to promote and sell ASSA ABLOY electro-mechanical (EM) and electronic access control (EAC) products and solutions in a team selling environment.
• Develop plans for increasing Elmech and EAC sales in territory in conjunction with distributor and system integrator’s team.
• Certify system integrators’ sales, installation and support capabilities through formal hands-on product training which also includes ongoing assessment and development of their skills to ensure ability to properly represent and promote ASSA ABLOY product portfolio
• Specification of ASSA ABLOY’s product portfolio in large project by engaging MEP consultant, architects and contractors by successfully presenting the concept, technical details and feasibility study.
• Act as an interface between customer and factory to provide the customised product as per requirement and should thrive to constantly improve the product and processes.
• Ability to get repeated business from existing customers; and provide commercial, marketing and strategic support to the existing accounts.
• Work constantly to acquire new Clients, retain as well as expand the scope of existing clients.
• Plan and implement lead generation activities through various means and develop new contacts.
• Handle pilot/mock ups of products and educating the key stakeholders on technical aspects.
  
  

Skills Required:

• Basic knowledge of Electronic Access Control domain
• Should be a self-starter and should be able to shoulder responsibilities at critical times.
• Proficient in MS Office applications, such as Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.
• Excellent communication skills to interact effectively with channel partner, end customer and internal departments
  
  

Educational Qualification and Experience:

• Graduate Engineer with specialization in Computer/Electronics
• MBA from reputed institute would be an added advantage
• Minimum of 8 years experience with Electronic Access Control or Electronic Locks or ELV Industry
