The Associate Vice President – Infra Lead will spearhead the technology infrastructure strategy and operations for the firm’s core trading and broking platforms. This role demands strong expertise in infrastructure design, scalability, cybersecurity, and high-availability systems to ensure seamless trading experiences and compliance with regulatory standards. The AVP will act as a bridge between technology, operations, and business teams to deliver resilient and future-ready infrastructure solutions.
🛠 Key Responsibilities
Infrastructure Strategy & Leadership
Define and implement infrastructure roadmap aligned with business growth and regulatory requirements.
Lead infrastructure modernization initiatives including cloud adoption, virtualization, and automation.
Ensure scalability and resilience of trading platforms, data centers, and network architecture.
Operations & Service Delivery
Oversee day-to-day infrastructure operations ensuring uptime, performance, and reliability.
Manage vendor relationships for hardware, software, and managed services.
Establish monitoring frameworks and incident response protocols for mission-critical systems.
Security & Compliance
Implement robust cybersecurity measures across infrastructure layers.
Ensure compliance with SEBI, NSE, BSE, and other regulatory technology standards.
Conduct periodic audits, vulnerability assessments, and disaster recovery drills.
Innovation & Transformation
Drive adoption of emerging technologies (cloud-native, containerization, DevOps practices).
Collaborate with application and trading technology teams to optimize infrastructure support.
Champion automation and AI-driven monitoring for proactive issue resolution.
Leadership & Team Development
Lead and mentor infrastructure engineers and support staff.
Build a culture of accountability, innovation, and continuous improvement.
Coordinate cross-functional teams to align infrastructure with business priorities.
📚 Qualifications & Skills
Education: Graduate/Postgraduate in Computer Science, IT, or related field. Certifications in cloud (AWS, Azure, GCP), networking, or cybersecurity preferred.
Experience: 12–15 years in IT infrastructure management, with at least 5 years in leadership roles within financial services or stock broking firms.
Skills:
Strong expertise in data centre management, cloud platforms, and enterprise networking.
Deep understanding of trading system infrastructure and regulatory compliance.
Proven track record in infrastructure transformation and large-scale project delivery.
Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
