About The Role
We are looking for a Procurement professional to join our team in Mumbai. The ideal candidate has strong analytical sourcing skills seeking to support a financial services procurement operations organization through data‑driven sourcing strategies, contract governance, and supplier optimization, with direct exposure to the Global Head of Procurement & Sourcing.
Key Responsibilities
Strategy Development & Execution Excellence
Support the end‑to‑end Source‑to‑Pay (S2P) lifecycle for indirect procurement, including sourcing strategy development, supplier negotiations, contract management, and supplier relationship management, within a financial services environment.
Execute sourcing initiatives including market analysis, RFP/RFQ execution, commercial negotiations, contracting, and stakeholder alignment.
Develop and support category strategies across key indirect spend areas such as professional services, financial and market data services, IT software and SaaS, HR benefits and corporate subscriptions.
Partner with internal stakeholders to assess demand and ensure timely, compliant procurement of indirect goods and services.
Support category management and leadership reporting by developing and maintaining supplier data, spend analysis, and performance insights.
Manage procurement operational activities, including purchase order creation, approval workflows, invoice reconciliation, and issue resolution.
Contribute to the standardization of procurement processes, templates, and governance across indirect spend categories.

Support ethical sourcing and responsible procurement practices consistent with financial services standards.

Support the implementation and adoption of procure‑to‑pay (P2P) tools and processes to enhance efficiency, transparency, and internal controls.
Track, analyze, and report on procurement metrics related to savings, compliance, contract coverage, and supplier performance, with a focus on continuous process improvement.
Required Skills & Competencies
Technical Skills
Working knowledge of ERP, CLM, or Procure‑to‑Pay (P2P) tools (e.g., Coupa, Ariba, Ivalua, Zip, or similar) preferred.
Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, formulas, analysis); exposure to Power BI or other reporting tools is a plus.
Comfortable working with data to support spend analysis, supplier tracking, and management reporting.
Exposure to AI‑enabled tools or automation within procurement or analytics environments is beneficial but not mandatory.

Qualifications And Experience
Education
Bachelor’s degree in supply chain management, Business Administration, Economics, or a related field.
Relevant Experience
3–7 years of experience (Analyst / Sr. Analyst range) in indirect procurement, sourcing, or supply chain operations, supporting category initiatives and day‑to‑day procurement execution.
Hands‑on experience supporting strategic sourcing activities, including spend analysis, RFP/RFQ execution, supplier evaluations, contract support, and negotiation assistance.
Exposure to indirect spend categories such as professional services, IT software/SaaS, financial or market data services, corporate subscriptions, HR services, or facilities‑related spend.
Experience working with cross‑functional stakeholders (finance, IT, legal, HR, operations) to gather requirements, support sourcing decisions, and ensure timely procurement.
Familiarity with procurement processes and controls within regulated or structured environments such as financial services is preferred
Demonstrated ability to support cost‑saving initiatives, supplier performance tracking, and compliance reporting under manager or category lead guidance.
Experience supporting procurement reporting, spend dashboards, and supplier data management.
