We are part of the Macquarie Market Services team, delivering high‑quality Anti‑Money Laundering and Know Your Customer compliance services that support global payments and regulatory obligations. The team works closely with stakeholders across regions to ensure effective sanctions compliance and financial crime risk management.

What role will you play?

In this role, you will be responsible in investigating potential sanctions issues related to global payments whilst collaborating with various stakeholders in a fast-paced and collaborative environment. This is an exciting opportunity to join a growing Payment Compliance team responsible for transaction and reference data screening to support Macquarie’s regulatory commitments.

What You Offer

  • Demonstrated capability in sanctions screening, including sanctions lists, adverse media, and politically exposed persons, with sound risk awareness.
  • Strong investigative and risk assessment skills, with the judgment to escalate sanctions and due diligence issues appropriately within financial crime frameworks.
  • Advanced analytical and research skills, with the ability to distill complex findings into clear, well documented written and verbal communication.
  • Proven ability to manage competing priorities, meet service level expectations, and perform effectively in a high volume, fast moving operational environment.
  • Experience and foundational knowledge of Anti‑Money Laundering (AML) or Counter‑Terrorism Financing (CTF) principles or regulated financial crime operations with flexibility to operate in a rotational shift, but primarily in nightshift.
